Issam Asinga, a Texas A&M-bound senior at Montverde Academy in Florida, won the boys 100-meter dash title in a wind-legal 10.05 seconds at New Balance Nationals Outdoor at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Asinga elevated to the No. 3 wind-legal competitor in U.S. prep history after producing top three best all-time all-conditions marks by a high school athlete this season with his 9.83, 9.86 and 9.89 performances.
